• Archive Binge: The series is long and isn't taking breaks from the five year timeskip.
• Continuity Lock-Out: Largely Averted as the author writes with the expectation that the reader hasn't read the mistborn series. Whether that works for the fanfic itself is another matter.
• Gateway Series: Has gotten more then a few readers into the Mistborn specifically and The Cosmere generally.
• Growing the Beard: Takes a while for the series to really hit it's stride.
