• Harsher in Hindsight: In the very beginning of the episode there a brief scene where Benson mentions getting a confession after nine hours of interrogation. Several seasons later we learn that the guy she's interrogated is innocent and only confessed because he was exhausted. He's now going to spend eight years in prison for a crime he didn't commit and the real culprit is free and will rape and mutilate several more women.
