• Retroactive Recognition:
  • The villain, Michael, is played by Stephen Lang, the main villain in the Avatar series.
  • His fellow prison escapee is Omar from The Wire.
• Spoiled by the Format: The hostage situation ends with about 1/4th of the episode left. Because everything has seemingly been resolved, it's clear there's more twists coming.
• Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Lee's "epiphany" and confrontation of his actual rapist at the end of the episode falls a little flat, considering he was proven to be a remorseless, two-faced liar who purposely accused his mother's fiancé of molesting him out of petty jealousy.
