- Hilarious in Hindsight: After turning Red, Lizzie seeks out her husband in the Red alliance and claims to have always had a thing for Red Names and bad boys. Two seasons later, Joel's faction is named the Bad Boys.
- Idiosyncratic Ship Naming: To fit with the "aha!" running joke of the Southlands and the fact Martyn and Mumbo are married in Last Life, their ship name is "Ahasbands", from 'aha' and 'husbands'. Some fans also refer to them as "Redwood", from 'redstone' and Martyn's IGN.
- Portmanteau Couple Name: Cleo and Lizzie are known as "ShadowRot" as they're ZombieCleo and LDShadowLady, respectively.
