• It's the Same, Now It Sucks!: An interesting Foreshadowing of the overexposure and inflexibility that many critics claimed ultimately doomed Abbott and Costello’s comedy careers. The boys were known for being very reluctant to try new material, and with Keep 'em Flying being their third full-length service comedy in less than a year (plus Hold That Ghost), some of their routines showcased here had already been seen in previous films. Critics and audiences gave the movie a relatively lukewarm reception. It’s generally seen as the weakest of their three 1941 service comedies.
