• Broken Base: A division between readers lies between this being a proper and logical extension to The Karma of Lies or if it's just more piling up of Karmic Overkill (especially for Adrien).
• Catharsis Factor: Although it gets soured off by Adrien's fate, the fic's reviews still show readers loved to see a story showing that Lila definitely did not got away with it in The Karma Of Lies (especially because of how ambiguous her part of the resolution can feel) and Marinette having a true-blue "My God, What Have I Done?"-worthy mess on her hands (when Salt Fics tend to show her revenge plans as flawless - regardless of any other circumstances in-universe - and her karmic profits as well-deserved - even when sometimes they don't - and thus how much the audience is willing to accept them).
