• Complete Monster: Makoto Uesugi/Jewel Dopant is a vain male model obsessed with perfection, with a history of destroying anything he decided didn't meet his standards. Having fallen in love with his female best friend Rui Jojima, Makoto was furious to learn she and their other best friend Satoru Takeda fell in love with each other before he could confess; Makoto responded by purchasing the Jewel Memory and turning Satoru into a diamond ring to force Rui to be his scapegoat as, realizing there's no such thing as a perfect person, he decided to turn various women into perfect diamonds. When Rui was able to get the Narumi Detective Agency involved, Makoto played the victim to divert all suspicion to Rui before setting up her death to close the case and flee Futo to turn more women into diamonds. When Rui calls him out on his actions after being saved by Terui, Makoto responds with pride in his actions and standards before attempting to throw the diamondized Satoru into the sea to spite her.
