• Complete Monster: Brainiac is once again portrayed as a sociopathic robot with zero redeeming qualities. Having set his sights on freeing a presence within a meteor in exchange for knowledge and power, he allows Gorilla Grodd to wreak havoc in Keystone; sends Killer Frost to destroy Gotham; sends Circe to take over and, eventually, destroy Themyscira; and gives Zoom the means to destroy the Pacific Coast, which will flood Coast City in order to distract the Justice League from his plans. After all his subordinates are defeated, Brainiac personally invades Metropolis and, when confronted by Flash, reveals that he has triggered the bomb that will atomize Metropolis.
