YMMV / Justice League Endless Winter

• Filler: The story is good, but feels inconsequential due to being sandwiched between Dark Nights: Death Metal and DC Future State without tying into either of them. The other events both got significant marketing pushes, ran over more issues and promised major changes to the DCU, while Endless Winter was barely advertised and could easily be lifted out of continuity without much of anything being effected. The fact that several of the series tying into it had already ended in November but been given one month extensions to be part of the event made it feel even more like DC was just trying to fill time until they could get to the stuff they thought was important. Aquaman especially had hastily resolved all its remaining plot threads, ending with as close to a Happily Ever After as possible, and really didn't need another issue.
