• Heartwarming Moments: During Fjellrose and Dreng's first encounter with the Mosetusse, who turns out to have once lived in the mountain they need to get to in order to find the missing magical horn, he talks about how since humans have taken up mining for coal in the mountain, he and the other Mosetusser had to leave, and that mosetusser are no longer needed. When Fjellrose and Dreng then tell him that they need his help, he responds with a delighted "Why didn't you just say so?" and joins them on their quest.
• Viewer Gender Confusion: In the second movie, it might be difficult to tell what gender Mosetussen is. Mosetussen is played by a male actor, but the character's voice sounds like an old woman and his appearance is rather androgynous. Mosetussen is also only referred to with any gendered pronouns once throughout the entire movie, which clarifies that the character is male.
