• Heartwarming Moments: In the end, Jiang Ziya indirectly keeps his promise to give Jiu a happier life. Last we see her, she's been reincarnated as a little girl with a happier life and a kindlier father. As opposed to her previous father who took away her doll when he sold her, this one gives her a doll.
• Tear Jerker: The reveal that Jiu was sold as a concubine for the Emperor by her own father. There's something all too cruel about learning that the one person who was supposed to love and care for Jiu in fact betrayed her trust and unceremoniously sold her off. He didn't even let her keep her doll.
