• Approval of God: The artist has gone on record that they love most of the fanfics based around the AU.
• Awesome Art: One of the most memorable things is the creator’s horrific yet still beautiful artwork of the contestants. And to make this even better the creator is only 14 years old!!
• Catharsis Factor: Considering that the whole mess was his fault in the first place, it's hard not to at least crack a smile upon the ghosts finally getting their revenge on Chris.
• Complete Monster: The Man in the Woods is a mysterious man who—angered for the arrival of the Campers to Camp Wawanakwa—decided to kill them in increasingly sadistic ways. Starting with Ezekiel Miller, whom he mutilated to spread his dismembered body parts across the Camp, the Man continued to hunt the Campers even after they were abandoned by Chris McLean during a entire month, subjecting his teenage victims to grisly deaths like being devoured by wolves, burned alive, horrifically outstretched or sewn together, while also mutilating their bodies to cause terror in the survivors, even keeping a decapitated head as a trophy.
• Discredited Meme: The "[any popular saying] (like [any character])" has been most used sentence by the TikTok users, however due to the sentence has been overused unfortunately, it has been discredited since September 2023.
• Fandom-Specific Plot:
  • A lot of fics based off the AU are of the contestants' month on the island, and the victims' last moments before their deaths.
  • Another plot that has begun to pop up is putting the other casts (namely, those from Revenge Of The Island, Pahkitew Island and the reboot) through the horrors of dealing with The Man in the Woods.
• Nightmare Fuel: Many of the images, while impressive looking, are utterly horrific and don't shy away from how horribly murdered those that died were.
• The Woobie:
  • All of the contestants qualify, given that they're a bunch of scared teenagers being hunted down by a deranged Serial Killer murdering them one by one in horrific ways and it's revealed that they can't even move on. Even the survivors are forced to deal with the fact that they watched their friends/Love Interests die in utterly horrible ways and were stuck fearing for their own lives for a month until Chris finally came to save them.
    • Special mention goes to Katie, who is shown to be a completely Empty Shell who is barely recognizable to the person she once was after Sadie’s death.
  • Alejandro and Sierra count as well, considering that, even though they had nothing to do with anything, the ghosts are still nearly as hostile to them as they are to Chris.
