- Alternate Aesop Interpretation: Kathy seems to ignore the Green Aesop of The Lorax, instead summarizing its message as "Take time. Get involved. Everybody makes a difference."
- Awesome Music: "Oh, The Places You'll Go." Seuss's Swan Song turned into a literal song!
- Narm Charm: The characters-turned-real, and the various props and food are absolutely RIDICULOUS, all in costume, personality, look, and substance. (Especially given a serious Shakespearean actor like Sir Patrick Stewart!) Yet... There's a surprising fascination at how REAL and PHYSICAL the producers managed to make them, in addition to how much Dr. Seuss' whimsical ideas and stories influenced many a child-of-the-past and are now influencing present young children. It's hard not to drop your jaw in awe.
- Nightmare Fuel: The hallway containing Seuss's political cartoons is surprisingly creepy, especially with some of them showing frightening images of an elephant-ostrich hybrid and people being cooked in a pot with (presumably) Adolf Hitler pouring the liquid into a box labeled "The Mold" on the side. The unsettling background music and abrupt alarm at the end doesn't help.
- Special Effect Failure: The Green Egg yolk that Kathy eats near the end of the ''Green Eggs & Ham" number is clearly green Jell-O.
