• Romantic Plot Tumor: The early chapters deal with Chinami trying to adjust to his new body and the work of attempting to become an idol. Halfway into the manga, the love triangle Chinami suffers in between Yuika and Oguri becomes more and more prominent.
• Strangled by the Red String: While Chinami's feelings for Oguri develop naturally, Oguri's own feelings for Chinami come completely out of the blue.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: The manga's initial premise is that Chinami has to fight against his masculine habits to succeed as an idol. By the start of the third chapter, his body alone is making him act completely feminine, making his previous struggles completely meaningless.
