• Funny Moments:
  • As part of the heavy restrictions placed on WWN, it was also noted that they had to air at 7:30 PM a still shot of the Prime Minister's face set to "stirring music" for half an hour. Cue a shot of Harold Macmillan set to The Benny Hill Show ending theme (a.k.a. "Yakety Sax") with the caption "This is a Lie" slowly fading in.
  • The ITV mergers of the 1990s and 2000s are described in the episode on digital and satellite as a "massive competitive game of Katamari Damacy".
• Harsher in Hindsight: The episode on UTV ends up fairly happily, with UTV remaining fiercely independent from ITV and being able to do its own thing. In the years after this episode, UTV would be bought up by ITV, with almost all of its regional branding removed in 2020.
