• Vindicated by History: W.H.D. Koerner didn't see much of a future in his superhuman do-gooder and abandoned it to pursue a successful career in Western-themed painting. One of his paintings famously hung in the Oval Office during George W. Bush's time as president. However, Hugo Hercules is looked back on as a fascinating piece of genre fiction history, gaining far more attention than it ever did in the time it was published as a kind of hydrogen atom for the Superhero.
