YMMV / How Do You Live?

The book

  • Harsher in Hindsight: Much of the book and its teaching are all about asking questions and soul searching about what it means to live and be a human. It also talks about more "Western" people such as Copernicus and Napoleon, and puts some characters with overly nationalistic tendencies (the bullies) as being misguided. Considering that it was published during the nationalist fever of the 1930s, it's amazing that the author(s) weren't blacklisted or arrested.
