• Audience-Alienating Era: Marvel's entire linewide relaunch saw Spider-Man go from his post-Clone Saga Audience-Alienating Era and land in an even worse one where practically nothing happened. The X-Men fared no better than Spider-Man with Alan Davis supervising all the X-titles which saw only one storyline worth reading (The Twelve) and otherwise stagnated.
• Heartwarming Moments: When Spidey opts out of being involved in the Avengers, Sandman immediately steps in to tell anyone if they wanna badmouth the webhead, they'll have to deal with him first.
• Ho Yay: Cap breaks Hawkeye out of his brainwashing by staring deeply into his eyes. And Hawkeye was his first pick of Avenger to recruit. Just sayin'...
