• Germans Love David Hasselhoff: The French version of the show, Cent filles à marier (A Hundred Girls to Marry Off), was very popular in Canada, as Québec had its own well-known bride drive.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: In the episode, "Marriage, Chinese Style," the usual reaction of a modern audience seeing Bruce Lee's character threatened by a Mook with a small knife is initially to laugh in anticipation of the idiot villain about to be flattened by Lee for threatening him, only to learn that Lee is not playing his usual action role in this story.
• Retroactive Recognition:
  • A pre-Brady Bunch Barry Williams appears in "A Kiss Just for So" as an Amish boy.
  • Bruce Lee appears in "Marriage, Chinese Style," in which he uncharacteristically loses a fight with Jeremy.
• Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Josh's Love Interest's father in "Two Worlds," who reacts to his daughter's successful cataract surgery by whining about how she doesn't need him anymore and guilt tripping her about any independence she might achieve.
