• Ensemble Dark Horse: The one character people remember from Michael Fleisher's revival is Slice D'Altroy. He was one of only two of the "Heroes" to get a solo story and when the first story was finally reprinted for the first time in 2015, Slice featured on the back cover of the first volume and he will feature on the front cover of the second.
• Vindicated by History: The revival was not all that well received during its run. When Michael Fleisher died in 2018, the Judge Dredd Megazine printed a retrospective of his career in tribute, noting that he always met deadlines (something a lot of creators failed to do during that time at 2000 AD) and that the strip would have fit the tone of the comic much better had it been published ten years earlier.
