• Awesome Music: The ending theme.
• Suspiciously Similar Song: A version of the Rocky theme music plays when Ninomiya is running back home with ingredients for some ramen in episode 8.
• The Woobie: Reika definitely fits this trope temporarily in episode 5 when she's walking along the beach alone and injures her foot after tripping on a small rock. Even Shungo feels some pity for her when he finds her crying behind a rock a few moments later, and offers a piggyback ride back to the hotel.
