• Designated Villain: The former "Go" coordinator Ivana is supposed to be a villain at the end of season 2 because now she has become the coordinator of the rival team of another school. Except that Ivana didn't abandon Go for another team. She was fired from Saint Mary and Go for a completely unfair reason (and all the students know it), so she simply accepted another job offer, but according to Mia and other characters this makes her a "traitor", because "she has no sense of loyalty". It's not clear what they expected from Ivana: stay unemployed or change job just because she can't be their teacher anymore?
• Jerkass Woobie: Lupe is a selfish Spoiled Brat who has no respect for anyone, but some of her frustration towards Mia is understandable. Her boyfriend Juanma is blatantly attracted to Mia, even when he's still dating Lupe for more than one season, before suddenly dumping her. Almost everyone favors Mia over her, including Lupe's own father Ramiro. And then there's the divorce of her parents and the revelation that Ramiro is Mia's real father, at the end of season 2.
• Unintentionally Unsympathetic: In season 2, there's the producer who comes at school to give a chance to two "Go" students to record a demo. Since Mia doesn't show up at the audition, the producer initially chooses Lupe as the female voice. But then he casually hears Mia singing outside of school, and immediately decides to replace Lupe with her. It's true that Mia missing the audition was Lupe's fault (she purposely gave Mia false informations), but the producer never knew about that, so his behavior and favoritism towards Mia come off as very unprofessional.
