YMMV / Go Jetters

Go To

  • Adaptation Displacement: Not many may know this but Go Jetters started out as a featured game on the Cbeebies website. It became so popular that it was given it's own show. The game is no longer playable.
  • Aluminium Christmas Trees: When watching Mariana Trench, the Pacific Ocean, you may thing that Ron Allum is a fictional celebrity that Lars looks up to, but he isn't.
  • Angst? What Angst?: The episode Harbin Ice city, China has the Go Jetters call out for Kyan after it was assumed he was injured from plunging into the ocean while on the heated Grim HQ. When its revealed Kyan's alright, none of them are shown to be deeply shocked or concerned about what happened. Granted, Go Jetters is aimed to a young demographic, and it may be off putting to show young kids the scarring feeling from believing your teammate has died.
  • Awesome Music: The Go Jetters theme song, written by Banks & Wag, has become iconic, many claiming it to be one of the catchiest theme of children's programming.
  • Designated Villain: Glitch from season 1-2 was mostly standard moustache twirling villain, who glitched landmarks for his own gain. But many of his glitches from season 3 have either been accidents or caused by his obliviousness, with Glitch even willing to help out to fix his mistakes. Glitch has also been given attributes that make him more sympathetic, like his care towards his niece Tala, or his friendship with Ubercorn. But he is still meant to be the bad guy of the show.
  • Moe: Lars' love for animals and gentle demeanour in general.
  • Portmanteau Couple Name:
    • Xuli x Kyan = Xyan
    • Lars x Foz = Fars
    • Tala x Foz = Taloz
    • Ubercorn X Glitch = Uber Glitch
  • Retroactive Recognition: Ubercorn (Tommie Earl Jenkins) is Die-Hardman. Others may recognise him as Mayor Noble Walker from Wednesday
