• Tear Jerker:
  • Maya unconsciously recuperating from her breathing attack. It's such a heartbreaking sight to see the normally active Maya lie helplessly in bed.
  • Despite her upbeat personality, there's this line that reveals how much Maya has a grasp of her mortality:
    Carlos: What do you want to ask [a ghost]?
    Maya: (Takes a deep breath) I want to know what happens when you die.
  • "You told [your friends] about my breathing tube, right? (Beat) ... You told them I exist, right?" This is being said by Maya, who Cat lied to her friends about being an acquaintance rather than her sister. Although it was out of sympathetic intentions of having friends of her own, it still hurts Maya that Cat would sooner lie to her friends rather than acknowledge her own little sister's existence.
