- Alternate Character Interpretation: Mostly Hidan and Deidara, so far, though as more characters are developed, we get slightly more twisted in our views. The best example, though, is Jashin.
- More specifically, Jashin isn't evil. We only have what we've learned from Hidan, but the souls that Hidan sacrifices are apparently being used as the only remaining method to keep the dimension from collapsing.
- Fan Wank: The Gods Theory. Little support in canon, completely out of the blue... and contradicts nearly nothing that canon actually DOES state.
- Ho Yay: Plenty.
- Deidara and Hidan have a lot of it before they actually get together.
- Sai and Shikamaru. It's hard to tell if Sai actually has a crush or not. Moreover, it's played with because Shikamaru is, for much of that time, a Cat Girl due to Deidara's punishments.
