• Cry for the Devil: Todd Finaly is ultimately a pathetic man hopelessly addicted to the sword. Like many hard drug addicts, he even lets his surroundings go to waste, as his filthy house demonstrates.
• Nightmare Fuel
• Like You Would Really Do It: Sure, you’re going to kill off the best friend halfway through the book.
• Paranoia Fuel: The Sword causes this in abundance. Is something going wrong natural, or is it the Sword’s doing?
