• Fandom Rivalry: This show had the misfortune of being revealed shortly after the beloved Andi Mack ended, and consequently fans of that show immediately started trashing this one simply because it wasn't a fourth season of their show.
• Memetic Mutation: The show was revealed around the same time the "Storm Area 51, They Can't Stop Us All" meme was getting popular, so naturally jokes combining the two surfaced.
