- Older Than They Think: Many viewers bought Nixon editing G.I. Zapp to remove violence and death references was a 4Kids Entertainment homage. However, given the cartoon being parodied, it's actually a reference to G.I. Joe: The Movie, which had to be edited to remove death and violence (specifically by extremely-obvious overdubbing) after the negative response to similar content in The Transformers: The Movie.
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: An unusual example; despite having a segment based on Scooby-Doo, Nibbler doesn't appear in it all even though he's voiced by Frank Welker. Welker has been the voice of Fred throughout the franchise, and he's voiced Scooby since 2002. Despite this, Hermes and Bender have the parts of Fred and Scooby, missing out on a fun Actor Allusion.
