• Jerkass Woobie: Lucifela. She was a Spoiled Brat abusing her servants, but she was also clearly traumatized from having to watch her mother dying from a painful and disfiguring illness, while the Count was away trying to afford a cure after he spent their entire fortune on doctors. Then her mother dies just moments before her father comes back with a cure and Lucifela witnesses her father's suicide attempt. Later the Count is so wracked with guilt he tries to make up for it and their previous financial struggles by spoiling his daughter with material gifts while not really paying attention to her mental issues. There's also the fact Lucifela was bullied and ostracized by other highborn girls and saw her relationship with Temir as a way to escape their harrasment. All of the above made her completely mentally unprepared to resist Temir when he started abusing her, and eventually led to her suicide.
