YMMV / Frantic

Go To

YMMV for the film:

  • Awesome Music: Ennio Morricone's masterful and haunting score is one of his most understated and is destined to stay with you long after the film.
  • Tear Jerker: The ending is heartbreaking. Michelle's death even with Sandra surviving overshadows everything. Walker is at first angered that it happened over the trigger device and then later breaks down and cries while holding Sandra in the car.

YMMV for the video games:

  • Anti-Climax Boss: The last boss of first game's final level. After a gruelling last level and several tricky bosses beforehand, the final boss's attack pattern is comparatively really predictable.
  • Awesome Music: From Frantic 2, all tracks by Peter Felix Armstrong.
    • The main menu theme is a rock track that pumps you up for the game you're about to play and even has a satisfying ending.
    • The gameplay theme is a fast-paced rock track with lots of adrenaline (or Addrenaline?) that is relatively well-timed for each level's duration.
    • The boss music is also rock, though it's composed in a way that adds to the intimidation while still making sure you feel like it's doable.
