• Awesome Moments: Xing has quite a few notches under his "awesome moments" belt.
  • Saving the Moon Spirit and taking out Admiral Zhao in one fell swoop is one.
  • Melting the walls of Ba Sing Se is another.
  • Healing the legs of Teo, the Mechanist's son.
  • The military exploits of the Defiant 11th also have their fair share of awesome moments, as thanks to Xing's tactics and inventions, they are able to battle against long odds and emerge relatively unscathed.
• Crazy Is Cool: It comes with the territory, what with Xing being "touched by the spirits", aka a Self-Insert.
  • A more canonical character that qualifies is the Mad King Bumi of Omashu. And yes, the two of them conspire together behind the scenes.
• Tear Jerker: For all of Azula's Character Development making her a better person, most of it comes from her being broken by circumstances and rebuilt better by Xing and the 11th.
  • Azula finally realizing how distorted she is as she cries into Xing's arms.
  • Urza showing that she never really let go of her fear of Azula, turning what should have been a happy reunion into something that ended in tears for both mother and daughter.
