- Hilarious in Hindsight: In Flashback, Koichi was hired to become All Might's sidekick and get a chance to be a hero. In the ending of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, Koichi was hired by Captain Celebrity to become a hero in America. In this fic, Koichi just gets to become a hero in Japan.
- She's Just Hiding!: Done as a Take That! to Midnight's death in canon, which the author considered to be arbitrarily pointless (and which also invalidated a fair bit of his setup for Eri's future backstory). In this fic, Midnight was actually taken and held captive by the villains for two years, and replaced with a decoy which everyone thought was her body.
