• Awesome Music: The Ultimate Final Boss remix that came with the 1.3 update. The song originally in the fight was the Vs. Fark theme from the first game, which is rocking in its own right, but the new vocal theme would make Adventure-era Sonic final bosses proud.
• Best Boss Ever: The final fight against Freom after Fark gains a super form with human-like proportions is actually pretty rad.
  • An update later elevated the fight even further, with its own vocal version of the original Ultimate Boss theme from the original Spark.
• Game-Breaker: Parrying is even more overpowered than in the first game. On top of being fairly easy to use, it grants a triple damage multiplier that quickly turn even bosses into a fine dust.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: There is a popular speedrunning technique called the "magnet dash", which takes advantage of a physics exploit by using an air dash to immediately cancel out of a Jester Dash as soon as it's performed, which launches Fark across the stage at ludicrous speed and enables a ton of Sequence Breaking. Come Sonic Frontiers, and an identical exploit would appear in an official Sonic game, which not only bears the same name but is even performed the exact same way.
• Narm: The use of Obligatory Swearing is questioned by fans, since it doesn't seem exclusive to E.J. the Edgy Jester and the game doesn't even have an ultra edgy mood like Shadow the Hedgehog did. LakeFeperd later stated that foul language really was limited to him and Double, but begrudgingly decided to revise the dialogue.
  "It is with great hate that I have to announce, that I will be removing swear words from Fark."
• What Do You Mean, It's Not for Kids?: Mainly because of the language (at least in the April 2018 demo).
  • The game proper also ends up having a surprising number of deaths for a cartoony game, especially considering the tone of the previous game.
