• Awesome Music: The music score composed by Peter Rodgers Melnick is pretty nice.
  • When the male penguins are first shown, "Holiday" by Green Day plays.
• Harsher in Hindsight: Carl saying nobody would miss him if he got eaten by a killer whale becomes this after Bob Saget passed away a decade and a half after this movie came out.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: This wouldn’t be the first time Jonathan Katz voiced a character who was also a shrink.
• One-Scene Wonder: Anyone who has watched this movie likely remembers it for the "Freezing My Nuts Off" Penguin voiced by Gilbert Gottfried.
