- Older Than They Think: Many people think that the first all-female bands came with the rise of punk (e.g. The Runaways). Fanny wasn't the first ever all-female band, but they made it bigger than their predecessors. People came to their shows to laugh at them, and stayed because they rocked.
- Sweet Dreams Fuel: "You've Got A Home", a song about a single mother bringing up her young son.
- Vindicated by History: The band's debut album was almost universally panned, by critics who couldn't get their ears around the idea of women playing Hard Rock. Nearly 50 years later, they are recognized as trailblazers, extremely talented musicians, and songwriters.
