• The Woobie: Meg, as per usual. She believes she got into Brown on her own merits, so when she found out her parents, without her consent, lied on her application to get into school she’s crushed, as she’s enjoying college and is making friends only to have that taken away when she’s threatened with expulsion. Not wanting to leave, Meg decides to do everything that her parents lied about so she can stay. She works hard and actually succeeds in doing the many tasks her parents listed, proving she belongs there, only to fail at the end because her parents also said she did an impossible task, one that could kill her. When she failed, Meg was expelled; she now has an undeserved admissions scandal on her school record.
