• Ensemble Dark Horse: Multiple supporting characters throughout the series have proven to be unexpectedly well-liked, but most notably, Gwyn and Augus themselves were originally supporting character and antagonist in Shadows and Light.
  • Mikkel the Reader. For a Non-Action Guy killed off in the same story he was introduced in, Mikkel was pretty well-liked and any mention of him in fan discussions is almost certain to draw sympathetic noises.
