YMMV / Escape from Hell! (2008)

• Anvilicious: After reading the book, you will know precisely what Hal Duncan thinks about gay conversion therapy, police brutality, the plight of the homeless, sex slavery and various other shadier aspects of the modern world. Short version is, he's not happy about them. At all.
• Awesome Moments:
  • Everything Six does is ridiculously badass. Just to take an example, he is imprisoned in the Institute, which is the place people elsewhere in Hell are afraid of being brought to. The guards know perfectly well that he is super-tough and just waiting for a chance to break out, and are determined not to give him one. He still gets out.
  • Belle's escape, wherein she electrocutes her john with a broken lamp to the groin, also deserves mention. Especially notable since unlike Six, she's usually rather timid.
