• Awesome Music: This episode might have its flaws, but absolutely nobody will say that the music is bad. Whenever Ed sleepwalks, an elegant piano theme plays, almost sounding like ballerina music.
• Critical Dissonance: "A Glass of Warm Ed" received mixed reviews. Some EEnE fans call this the best episode of Season 1 because finally at the end the Eds pull off a scam that is successful and earns them multiple quarters and because of the Breather Episode characteristic where the Eds don't get mistreated by anybody throughout the episode. Critics complained that the episode didn't have much irony (or at least not very sharp irony) or dynamic characterization; they considered this episode to be just Ed eating food and getting fatter as he does.
