YMMV / Dofus: Kerub's Bazaar

• Ho Yay: For two people who claim to hate each other, Kerubim and his rival Indie sure end up in rather compromising situations a lot, including having to kiss one another.
  • Kerubim becomes devastated when he thinks Indie is dead in one episode, and goes ballistic on two guys at a bar who pretend they knew Indie.
  • Indie gives up a contest when it becomes apparent that Kerubim would rather die than lose, while giving a rather badass speech about how he considers Kerubim family.
• Tear Jerker:
  • The entire Ecaflip City arc serves as this for Kerubim and, to a greater extent, Lou. Kerubim wanted to make enough money for the perfect wedding, but becomes too greedy for his own good. During a tournament for a change to face the city's Baron, he gambles everything including his love for Lou. He loses it all, and Lou loses her memory, leaving Kerubim a desperate wreck hooked on gambling. After getting better through therapy, he reunites with an amnesic Lou and decides to start over.
  • The last episode. Simone leaves for Bonta with Julie to open a dating agency. Soon after, Kerubim decides to take the advice she gave him at her going-away party and become a traveling merchant with Joris, Pupuce, and Luis. The group leave town with Kerubim reassuring the sad Joris that they don't have to say goodbye to their friends because true friends are for life.
