* HarsherinHindsight: Almost everything about ''The Lovestruck Derpy'' blog.

* IdiotPlot: An ''elaborate'' one at that. Considering how most aspects of the plot could be resolved quickly, Jitters instead pads it out or makes no connection to it in the story. Hence why some get tired of Whooves's constant spouts of discordedness each time he becomes hopeful (or when he sees Derpy).

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: On paper, ''Discorded Whooves'' sounds promising and every engaging, however many fans have pointed out how the series began to focus less on Dissy's complex character and more on enforcing how much the world around him sucks, his ''heavily'' {{Wangst}}y moments, and the enforcement of [[SatelliteLoveInterest Miss Twilight Sparkle]]. It became way too complicated with Jitter's obsession with ContinuityLockOut, the dated aspects of the blog, and the constant padding.

* FoeYay: As always, The Doctor and The Master.

* DarknessInducedAudienceApathy: One of the biggest criticisms of the blog: No matter what happens, the blog is always the same: Dissy is a depressed JerkAss drowning in alcohol, never having a chance of hope in such a CrapsackWorld that Equestria became with little to no progress of getting better, ''not even with fellow friends''. Yeesh.

* NeverLiveItDown: Dissy beating up Derpy is probably why ''everyone even knows about the blog''.
** While toned down and more or less showing how pathetically sad he is, the blog is forever just known at the fact Dissy went around having sex with anybody he saw.

* DeaderThanDisco: Unfortunately began to rear it's ugly head in recent years: The blog was heavily popular due to it's dark storytelling and the borderline amazing artwork by Jitters, however as the fandom slowly departed from Grimdark material due to oversaturation, the blog more or less began to be forgotten aside from Jitter's fanbase. It pretty much was warrant a death sentence following Tumblr's shut down of anything NSFW/Dark on their site. That being said, the blog's [[ArcFatigue own]] [[AssPull extensive]] [[DarknessInducedAudienceApathy issues]] have dragged it down as well, not helped with MLP:FIM ended it's run.

** Miss Twilight Sparkle. By so many degrees. Some fans enjoy her character, while others find her completely unnecessary to the story itself, especially now since she's a recurring character in {{WebComic/Motherly Scootaloo}}. Also the fact that she's basically began with Discorded Whooves only because Jitters is good friends with the tumblr creator, Princess Marshmallow.

* HypeBacklash: At least for some people, who have heard of ''Discorded Whooves'' expect a brilliant, dark story, only to find something they don't expect. It doesn't help it's been going ''on and on'' with little to no progress. One of the many issues also forced on the tumblr is the ''dated'' aspects, such as Discord still portrayed as a villain despite being reformed in the show, Twilight being an alicorn, and a slew of other issues and of course, many people will complain over the {{Wangst}} aspects with Dissy, along with his forced relationship with Twilight.

Jitters has read this page and talked about it on his blog [[http://jitterbugjive.tumblr.com/post/162884821309/jitterbugjive-trope-page-talking-about here]], where he takes issue with some of the points on this page, but overall concedes the point that the story drags a lot.

** The decision of bringing back Octavia has met with mixed reception: Some fans are happy to see her back (And to put focus away from Miss Twilight Sparkle, who's already a base breaker) while others see it as Jitter's attempts to lengthen out the story and others have brought eye rolls since it's ''obvious'' Jitters is going to have Dissy go behind Twilight's back with Octavia.

** Two words: [[BaseBreaker Octavia's Return]].

* ContestedSequel: Despite not being releated , some see out of any tumblrs, '''Lil Miss Rarity''' as a better story due to how it focuses solely on the story and reasonable hiatuses, in comparison to Discorded Whooves.
** Oddly enough, ''Bedeviled Derpy'' is also a better improvement despite only having a few segments done.
** ''Ask [Cr]Applejack'' reaches this level, although this could be considered connected to Discorded Whooves due to the art being done by Jitters.

* NoFairCheating: The askers once tried to inform Jack about Dissy's condition. Discord personally destroyed the posts, scolding the askers as he did so. This sadly doesn't go well with fans, who feel it derails the plot.

* BaseBreaker:
** Miss Twilight Sparkle. By so many degrees. It doesn't help some fans enjoy her character, while others find her completely unnecessary to the story itself, especially now since she's a recurring character in {{WebComic/Motherly Scootaloo}}. Also the fact that she's basically began with Discorded Whooves only because Jitters is good friends with the tumblr creator, Princess Marshmallow.

* TheScrappy: Some fans see not the character, but the ''tumblr'' itself as this. Most reasons is the HypeBacklash it gets and the fact how it ''always'' seems to sneak it's way into other tumblrs that don't even need to have it collaborate with. Prime example is the {{WebComic/Motherly Scootaloo}} tumblr.
** Miss Twilight Sparkle is this for some fans. Reasons range for her ''not being Derpy'' to finding the tumblr completely pointless. Plus add to the fact that she basically is ''only'' involved with the tumblr because Jitters is friends with the creator of the tumblr, Princess Marshmallow, feeling more like it's [[StrangledByTheRedString forced by Jitters and possibly Princess Marshmallow]].

* TearJerker: ''Any scene'' with Derpy. Each time Dissy is back to normal, you seriously, seriously want him and her to reconcile and finally have some ''change'' in the story. But as always, Status Quo comes in. Other tumblr readers can get tears whenever Miss Twilight Sparkle and Dissy are flirting or being in love with each other as it takes away what was they wanted to happen to ''Derpy''. Faust dammit Jitters...

** Just the world of Discorded Whooves in general.

** Discorded Whooves himself, although he's saved.''At times''.
*** The slow pacing of the tumblr itself. While some reasons are understandable (Such as when Jitter's tablet ''and'' his computer broke), at times the tumblr is interrupted by Jitter's constant crossovers with other tumblrs. Prime Example are with the {{WebComic/Motherly Scootaloo}} crossover, that interrupts both tumblr storylines each time.
*** Heavy critiques is how the tumblr is completely out of focus at times due to having multiple stories run at the same time (and includes all the crossovers).

*** Jitters himself is this. Some love his work, while others don't know for sure if he's simply enjoys being what Steven Moffat is to Whoovians. Other aspects to Jitters is how he will take criticism, as if someone comments on how they don't like ''Discorded Whooves'', he ''immediately'' defends it by stating their points wrong.
*** Jitters's overall idea of 'mental illness' gets the chagrin of hardcore fans, at one point, a fan criticizing Jitter's own interpretations of mental illness and not really understanding it, just using it as a means to put RuleOfDrama within the show. Jitters was ''not'' amused and [[CantTakeCriticism had fans basically call out the guy before he finally blocked him]].This didn't leave a good taste in fans's mouths following this incident.
** Two words: [[UnresolvedSexualTension Octavia's]] [[BaseBreaker Return]].

*** While this is mainly due to the crazed fanbase, some fans do have an understanding anger towards [[CreatorsPet Miss Twilight Sparkle]], some feel that Twilight and Dissy's relationship suffers from StrangledByTheRedString. While there are some moments that feel the two ''understand each other'', due to Jitter's usage of RuleOfDrama, it comes off as just forced. The fact Jitters keeps writing in Miss Twilight Sparkle when she isn't needed and gets uptight if someone criticizes the pairing. The ironic thing is Jitter is actually a fan of Whooves X Mayor Mare and MTS ''isn't'' even his character.
