YMMV / Deadly Influencer

• Ham and Cheese: Morgan Taylor Campbell has all the subtlety of a jackhammer in her portrayal of Skylar, and is clearly having a great time finding new ways to overplay the character in each scene.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: Doreen, Skylar's addled alcoholic cousin (and emotional punching bag) is a fascinating character, who feels like she was pasted in from an entirely different movie, and deserves better than the secondary role she plays in the story.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: The Doreen/Skylar relationship is intriguing, with the mousy, alcoholic Doreen completely intimidated by the younger and smaller Skylar. A story just focusing on them could make a genuinely good Psychological Thriller.
