• The Woobie: Zeller, who witnesses his lover being slaughtered by an eldritch monster, goes insane from seeing said monster, is threatened by the security officer meant to protect him, and is actually being set up as the fall guy for his superior's twisted plans. His appointed attorney is only interested in his case for the publishing rights, and the government frames the incident as though he went mad and killed everyone himself to protect his superior's legacy. It's little wonder that he ended up unleashing the Old Ones on humanity himself after everything he's gone through.
