  • Lester M. Barclay, former used-car salesman and mayor of the titular town. When a zombie apocalypse plagued the world, Lester took over the city council and forced himself into the role of mayor. Once in power, Lester proved himself an utter psycopath, having his overthrown predecessor killed along with anyone else who challenged him. During his terms, Lester had his followers spread propaganda about his laws, sanctioned the police to rape and murder as they pleased, and imprisoned anyone who spoke out against him. Lester also created a sadistic, publicized game called "Live Pie", where civilians he declared personal enemies would slowly be swarmed by zombies, headfirst, with no way of defending themselves.
  • There's also "Sheriff" Deke, chief supporter of Lester's horrific regime. Allowing his deputies to brutalize and torture the populace at will, Deke gleefully fed Lester's enemies to the dead and assisted in the purges to bring Lester to power. To take his position as Sheriff, Deke viciously beat the honest sheriff, Ezra's father, to death with his pistol, forcing Ezra to watch. As he's loaded into his chair for sentencing, Ezra angrily reminds him that he also raped his baby sister in the past.
