YMMV / Creep (2004)

• Cliché Storm: Arguably the first part of the movie (rich unlikable characters are having a party, two of them are chased and locked somewhere dangerous as punishment for unlikability), though it redeems itself by avoiding many usual tropes and commonplace things in horror movies. Namely, a Jerk with a Heart of Gold Action Survivor protagonist with Character Development replaces the Damsel in Distress Purity Sue, the characters don't have a Plot Tumor romance, the villain never goes on a motive rant and we just get some pictures that may indicate his origin, which make him really sympathetic and almost inhuman in the same time.
• Paranoia Fuel: Several of the shots featuring Kate in the first half of the film are very POV shot in nature, as if someone is watching her...
