  • Black Sheep Hit: Downplayed with the Norman Cook remix of "Brimful of Asha". It wouldn't necessarily be considered representative of the group at that time, but it does fit with their general tendency toward Genre Roulette, and is less of a black sheep in retrospect as it foreshadowed the more Experimental Dance direction of the Clinton album and Handcream For a Generation.
  • Eclipsed by the Remix: At least in the UK, Norman Cook's "big beat" reworking of "Brimful of Asha" eclipsed the original (despite the band's insistence on playing the original version in TV appearances).
  • Signature Song: "Brimful of Asha". Singh has noted that " if there’s one song that reflects record collecting and us at the time, the politics of the song, the talk about vinyl, the talk about different artists, different instrumentation… all of that is a great representation of what we were as a band. Luckily it’s in one fell swoop!"
