• It's the Same, So It Sucks: The announcement trailer for Season 19, Dragonrise, drew much ire for both being another season that focused on Ancient China and also because it added yet another five-star cavalry unit. While China had only one previous season specifically focused on it, Dynasty, the base game includes so many elements from Chinese culture that another season was seen as unnecessary. As for the cavalry, there are well over a dozen five star cavalry units already in the game, five just from the unit trees, with many wishing that the season should have included a five star melee infantry or ranged infantry instead.
