• Harsher in Hindsight: In season 3, episode 10 of Forensic Files II, the killer, Paul Curry used a similar scheme of a nicotine poisoning, only his victim, Linda Kincade, didn't smoke. He managed to avoid conviction for 16 years due to varying the dosage in the victim's food to make it appear like a chronic health problem and leaving very little evidence behind. Investigation revealed that he had extracted the overdoses from packs of cigarettes, and was motivated by the life insurance policy she had. The killer had even been on television, Jeopardy! in this case.
