- The purple orb's ability of teleporting to whichever spore you pick up only gets used after its empowering and isn't touched in the final levels when you otherwise need to use multiple abilities in conjunction.
- The gateways and the Recursive Reality possibilities that come with them are only used in one sequence immediately before the end.
