• Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: Makoto starts rapping at one point in the 7th trial to the shock and horror of Komaru and Nagito.
• Grew the Beard: While the first few trials were popular enough to spawn more, Trial 4 acted as the introduction of the Alibi system which gave each participant a little bit of backstory to detail what they were doing while the crime was being set up and flesh out character interaction and the mystery.
• Padding: In the Tenth trial, half of part 2's focus was Mukuro attempting to make everyone strip and check for injuries. It wields no results progression-wise.
